Bar Lead

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Lead to join our AFURI team. As the Bar Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the bar operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the food and hospitality industry.
**Duties**:
- Manage and supervise bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks
- Train new employees on bar procedures, customer service, and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and place orders as needed
- Create and update drink menus based on customer preferences and seasonal offerings
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of food and beverage service
- Monitor bar area for cleanliness and organization
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is required
- Proven experience in bartending is essential
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
