This incumbent will maintain comprehensive knowledge of the commercial banking, especially on Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and corporate loan products and services. S/he will support business and client volume based on the risk appetite of the Bank, accelerating the development of SME and corporate business and enhancing service levels. In addition, s/he will conduct underwriting and post lending management on SME and commercial loan.

**Responsibilities**:
Business Development
- Support innovations to SME business and promote sustainable and sound development of the SME services
- Support implementation of the SME development strategies and proactively seize market opportunities to expand client base
- Underwrite loan business, develop and maintain positive business relationship with customers
- Participate in various marketing, prospecting and networking activities to build business relationship for prospective new lending opportunities

Credit Risk Control and Post Lending Management
- Prepare annual reviews, credit related memos, site visits and presentation reports
- Address post lending questions or issues, including updating post lending tickler to ensure receipt of all documents required per loan management

Compliance
- Work and coordinate with Quality Control Unit and BSA section to perform customer account reviews for new and existing loan customers and inform customers of regulatory compliance requirement
- Help define high-risk business character for current portfolio and enhance BSA/KYC and risk rating of commercial loan
- Handle loan business according to all Bank policies and procedures, as well as OFAC/KYC requirements

Customer Service Operations
- Ensure all documents required per loan agreement have been obtained and uploaded to centralized documentation storage
- Prepare credit recommendation report and commitment letter after loan approval, negotiate loan documentation, arrange the closing and prepare the closing documents
- Monitor loan portfolio activities, and escalate any unusual and irregular activities to manager where applicable

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, preferred major in Finance, Economics, Accounting or relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years of SME and corporate lending experience within Banking
- Sound knowledge of due diligence process, regulatory and compliance, as well as credit analysis, Commercial Real Estate, and product knowledge
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting and portfolio management
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Bilingual ability in Mandarin and English required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
