STORE MANAGER
The store manager is responsible for all staffing, sales and
operations in the assigned Scooters Coffee location. This role
builds and leads a friendly, service-oriented barista team, sets
a high-energy work pace, drive sales, increases profits and
demonstrates an engaged management style. The store
manager exemplifies the Scooters Coffee core values.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience through proper staffing, hire, train and retain.
- Execute brand beverage recipes and techniques and foster the Scooters Amazing experience for the customer.
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, visual merchandising standards and equipment.
- Interview, hire, train and develop staff to demonstrate all company standards in customer experience and operations.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and development for staff members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance.
- Use real time situations to coach and provide encouragement, for the development of an excellent trained staff.
- Maintain accountability in employees using progressive discipline process.
- Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements based on business need while creating work schedules accordingly.
- Use barista strengths, experience and skills to assign stations on shift.
- Implement a varied schedule to develop employees, meet business needs and maximize sales potential across all hours of operation.
- Contribute to store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales by managing expenses.
- Maintain company standards in personal and store sales/performance metrics.
- Encourage and ensure full team participation in both setting store goals and developing action plans to accomplish sales goals.
- Develop leaders that can assist in accomplishing these goals during all day parts.
- Ensure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety and operational procedures are performed in an accurate and consistent manner.
- Maintain daily, weekly and quarterly reports.
- Maintain final accountability for store operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership-ability to lead and teach others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with a team.
- Administrative-ability to staff and stock store while meeting all deadlines and operating within payroll and inventory budgets.
- Work style is energetic and fast paced. Strong problem solving, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
- Organizational-ability to maintain a clean, organized, efficient work environment.
- Customer Service-ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs.
- Build sales and develop loyal relationships with customers by providing outstanding products and amazing service in a fast friendly environment.
