Primary Responsibilities:
The position requires a professional, detail-oriented, patient, and friendly individual with a strong work ethic. During delivery, equipment pickup, and all interaction, you will represent yourself and the company as professional and organized. You will be communicating with nurses, home health agencies, seniors, the disabled, and others in need of our goods or services. Instructing others on using equipment and supplies, troubleshooting, evaluating, and recommending additional goods will be part of your daily duties.

Deliveries are primarily conducted in and around the Houston area or within a 100-mile radius of Houston. For larger deliveries, we may drive further.

If you are ambitious and comfortable consulting or recommending add-on products, compensation can be significantly higher than what is shown.

This position requires someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented. This position requires abiding by a strict protocol that involves collecting required insurance documentation and payments. Must be able to lift bulky objects occassionally weighing up to 50 lbs.

Maintaining medical equipment includes thoroughly disinfecting, storing, and logging all incoming and outgoing equipment to like-new condition.

One year of experience with DME/HME or relevant, a stable work history, clean driving, and no felony criminal record is required. Background, Drug, Criminal, and Employment history will be verified prior to the offering of employment.

Compensation:
Safeway Medical Supply is an accredited, bonded, licensed, and established company. Compensation will be based upon experience. A working interview may be required.

Depending on experience: In addition to your base, commissions may be a significant part of your income. Employees are paid based on the value and productivity provided to the company, coworkers, and customers. Pay raises and advancements are based on these and other factors. Paid vacations, paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, commissions, reimbursements, and other benefits are available.

Required experience:
DME/HME Delivery/Tech: At least (1) one year
