Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Driver to join our team at RESOURCE ENVIRONMENTAL LLC. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating commercial motor vehicles to deliver goods and materials throughout the Houston, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and maintain commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers and other large trucks, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, following all safety guidelines.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical failures promptly to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Transport hazardous materials, including bulk fuel, to local project sites.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of CDL driving experience, operating a class 6-8 power units.
  • Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, CDL requirements within Texas.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Or willing to obtain these endorsements within thirty (30) days.
  • Understanding of requirements related to: trailering, placarding, GVWR, intrastate transport, IFTA, and HAZMAT.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of commercial vehicles.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience in fuel truck operation but can also operate a dump truck or flatbed for material deliveries to project sites.
