Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver II to join our team at Home Depot. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting construction equipment to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver equipment to customers
  • Load and unload equipment on the trailer or flatbed truck, ensuring proper securing and tie-down
  • Perform local deliveries and pick-ups of rental equipment to and from customer job sites
  • Provide basic operational training on equipment use to customers
  • Verify equipment is clean and operational prior to and after each delivery
Requirements
  • Class A (Commercial Driver's License) CDL certification
  • Valid DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card)
  • 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience in the previous 5 years
  • 1-year flatbed tractor-trailer experience in the previous 5 years
  • Safe driving record - Clean MVR
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in easy-to-understand terms
Working Conditions

This position requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment.
