Janssen Research & Development, LLC is recruiting an Executive R&D Strategy, Portfolio and Organization Coordinator. This position can be in New Brunswick, NJ or Springhouse, PA. This position may require up to 25% domestic travel.
- Per our J&J Flex Policy, the expectation for this position is to work in the New Brunswick, NJ or Springhouse, PA office 3-4 days per week and work from home 1-2 days per week. _

The Executive R&D Strategy, Portfolio and Organization Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive coordination support to Global Head R&D Strategy, Portfolio Organization and back up support to the Head of R&D office.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Assist Global R&D Strategy, Portfolio Organization team with strategic projects and priorities including large projects such as:

- International group travel for the Senior Leadership team
- R&D leaders’ offsite meetings
- National and international meetings and scientific symposia for R&D leadership and the entire JJIM R&D organization
- Exercise independent discretion and judgment to solve moderately complex problems with some latitude to change work processes.
- Identify ways to streamline processes to reduce project completion time.
- Identify obstacles to completion, gaps in the process and take appropriate action.
- Provides analysis and recommendation to management.
- Prepare meeting schedules for and reports from major meetings.
- Assure that all assigned programs are completed in a timely and efficient manner and follow-up is done on all details.

- Act as point of contact and back-up support person to the Head of R&D office.
- Responsible for various projects and tasks for the Head of R&D.
- Demonstrate flexibility while maintaining a sense of urgency that the office requires.
- Utilize technology to optimize all business interactions to include Zoom and Team Meetings.

**Qualifications**:
Required:

- A minimum of a high school diploma is required, and an Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience supporting senior executive management/project coordinator.
- Ability to multi-task, work with mínimal supervision and achieve results in a fast -paced environment **.**:

- Ability to anticipate executive needs and collect or prepare information for executive review and action, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to think analytically, exercise sound judgment and discretion, independently assess and resolve complex situations, and flexibility to respond to shifting priorities.
- Must have a keen sense of prioritization and time management to ensure maximum effectiveness of time use.
- Advanced computer skills working with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency with productivity tools and portal technology required (Workday, Our Source, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, e-marketplace, Concur, Totality, ASK GS, SharePoint).
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be detail oriented.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $72,450 to $115,920.

This position is overtime eligible.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

- Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
