**PURPOSE**:To provide effective management to the day-to-day finances of Word of Life Florida and provide leadership to the FL Financial Services team.

KEY RESULTS AREAS:
1. **Provide Consistent Budget Management and Innovation**
Provide timely financial services to the Florida Campus so that the Ministries team can operate effectively
Assist Vice President of Florida Ministries in budget writing process (Primarily August November)
Provide information and initial answer for Variance Reports in collaboration with Vice President of Youth & Family Camps & Director of Operations
Encourage innovation by consistently striving to improve financial processes in conjunction with Word of Life Fellowship Financial Services
Monitor and assist in negotiating vendor contracts as needed.

2. **Accounts Payables, Payroll & Cash Management**
Petty Cash Management including temporary advances for ministry teams
Provide support for the Accounts Payable process which may include Purchase Order creation, processing invoices for payment, corrections, and journal entries
Manage large seasonal payroll transfers in conjunction with HR
Assist Ministry leaders in ensuring payroll is charged to correct departments
Assist with the collection and processing of donations & offerings
Collect and process deposits as needed
Coordinate onsite check printing with Financial Services
Cash Checks as needed
Make change for retail areas
Manage the safe
Manage vending machines

3. **Bible Institute Support**:
Communicate information regarding Financial Aid, Billing, and Payments to parents and students at registration events and proactively during the school year in conjunction with the NY Business and Financial Aid Offices
Manage and collect student accounts including the receiving and posting of payments from Bible Institute students
Process and Report recipients of Bright Futures Scholarship
CIE Renewal Report
Key Deposits Communicate list of unreturned keys with NY Business Office for charging of individual accounts

4. **Youth Camps Support**:
Secondary administrator of Camper Bank:

- Setup, Returns & Refunds
- Serve at Youth Camp Registrations
Secondary processor of expense reimbursements for Speakers
Process Seasonal payroll for Nurses/Seasonal Staff through AP system
Angel Tree Scholarship reporting in collaboration with FL Guest Services

5. **Reports & General Administration**
Produce data for monthly variance reports
ASCAP Reporting
Provide monthly capital project reports as needed
Monthly Bible Institute Deferred Revenue and Scholarship
Serve as first point of contact for interoffice questions related to financial reporting and financial data integrity for Florida Ministries
Cross Train to support and assist the Assistant Business Manager as needed

- A God-given call into ministry.
- A proven track record of managing budgets and finances.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning and relationship-building skills.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting practices
