Foster development and maintenance of an environment where exceptional quality is achieved, recognized, and continuously improved upon. Develop annual budgets, quality goal objectives, and operate within such guidelines.

**Job Specific**:
1. Demonstrates effective leadership of the Information Technology department.

2. Develops and manages the capital budget as it relates to the area of Information Technology.

3. Oversees the development, procurement, and deployment of computer systems.

4. Consults with hospital management personnel to define boundaries and priorities of tentative projects.

5. Confers with hospital Department Managers involved with proposed projects to insure cooperation and to further define the nature of projects.

6. Displays a polite, considerate, and professional manner, indicating concern and interest with patients, visitors, employees, and peers.

7. Develops, reviews, and revises (as required), complies with, and enforces hospital and department policies and procedures.

8. Determines the quantity, qualifications, and competence of department personnel required to fulfill department obligations.

9. Determines the resources (equipment, supplies, space, etc.) necessary to carry out the functions of the department.

**Hospital**:

- Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures.
- Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital’s Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations.
- Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines.
- Performs within his/her professional Scope of Practice at all times.

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**

**Required**:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Management Information Systems.

**EXPERIENCE**

**Required**:Minimum of 5 years’ experience with increasing responsibility in Information Technology within a healthcare environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
