Social Media Specialist

**Duties**:

- Help ASTOUNDZ expand and build upon its Social Media practice. We are one of Houston's top web-marketing firms and we want to expand our Social Media offering. You will be responsible for helping sell, promote and expand our client base.

For our clients, you will:

- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and infographics
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community
- Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and photographers to create visually appealing content
- Proofread and edit social media posts for clarity, grammar, and spelling
- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices

**Experience**:

- Expereince building a Social Media practice
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and strategies for driving online sales
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and photography tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread content for accuracy
- Experience in digital marketing is a plus
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
