As a Property Accountant, you would be given around half of the properties for your portfolio. You would be supervised by our CFO and would receive your own office located at:
5111 S. Ridgewood Ave. Suite 201, Port Orange, FL 32127

Hours of Store Operation: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

We have flexible schedules available as well because you do receive an hour break for lunch which can be taken at any time or shorter times if you want to leave early on a particular day during the week.

Salary starts at $52,000 annually but the final salary amount will depend on past experience and/or schooling.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare monthly financial report
- Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in preparation of annual recoverable charges reconciliation
- Meet Accounting Department deadlines
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly property audits for our storage portfolio
- Assist on special projects
- Assist with annual budget preparation

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting) or equivalent experience. If you are currently in school seeking your degree in Accounting, we highly recommend that you apply
- Two years of experience in general accounting or schooling.
- Experience in real estate property accounting is a plus
- Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Yardi Voyager experience or other real estate accounting software is a plus. Training will be provided on Yardi Voyager.
