Linden Hall is looking for a personable, collaborative full-time Alumnae Relations & Special Events Coordinator with an interest in working in an all-girls’ school. We welcome engaging, high-energy applicants who are interested in building and sustaining relationships with alumnae, parents of alumnae, past parents and friends of Linden Hall. The primary goal of this position is to sustain and enhance the relationship of the alumnae with Linden Hall and find meaningful ways to engage alumnae in the community of Linden Hall.

The Alumnae Relations Coordinator will develop and implement a comprehensive engagement program designed to provide meaningful opportunities for volunteerism, personal and professional development, and events and programs for alumnae to enhance loyalty, dedication, and support for Linden Hall. This position is responsible for relationship building, output of communications, and event leadership that ultimately strengthens alumnae involvement, including alumnae parent involvement, with financial support of the school. This position supports all Advancement Department activities and donor relation programs including the annual fund, fundraising events, and legacy gifts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement an annual alumnae engagement plan with solicitation goals and objectives in coordination with the Director of Advancement for the Linden Hall Fund and campaign priorities (as needed);
- Build and manage relationships with Alumnae and volunteers, keeping them informed and engaged in current Linden Hall activities;
- Create and implement a Young Alumnae program; including the planning and coordination of Career Day and other Young Alumnae related events;
- Coordinate all alumnae activities consistent with the overall marketing, fundraising and engagement strategies of Linden Hall;
- Take leadership in planning and implementing advancement and alumnae events including alumnae reunions, annual events (fundraisers), board meetings and other key activities;
- Provide appropriate alumnae related information for the Linden Hall website, social media, monthly newsletters, and other channels to keep alumnae informed and to elicit their participation and financial support;
- Act as the liaison with the Alumnae Association Board;
**Requirements**:

- Minimum two years working in an advancement office or two years working in a role with project management experience is preferred
- Minimum two years in a position that required training and organizing volunteers
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders, such as alumnae, community members, faculty, staff, and students
- Knowledge of best practices in alumnae relations and/or community engagement
- Experience managing several multi-faceted projects simultaneously and independently while meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience with event planning
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends, as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and donor databases and software
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement or other appropriate administrator

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
