**Recruiting Coordinator (Contract 6 months)**

This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you own and schedule for multiple positions within a given vertical.

In addition to your core duties as a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling all onsite interviews for the entire recruiting team and subsequent interview meetings and roundtables.

**This position is a hybrid role, 2 days of remote and 3 days in-office per week, situated in our New York City office. Remote work is not available for this position.**

**What You'll Do**:

- ** Onboarding Support**:Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and coordinating orientation schedules.
- ** Process Improvement**:Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the recruitment and onboarding processes. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the recruiting coordination function.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs and priorities. Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to talent acquisition.
- ** Compliance**: Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the recruitment process.

**What You've Done**:

- Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Efficient time management to meet tight deadlines.
- Thoroughness in screening resumes and coordinating interview schedules.
- Ability to identify and address challenges in the recruitment process.
- Proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with recruiters, hiring managers, and other team members.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and needs.
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
- In the case of a senior position, the ability to lead and mentor junior recruiting coordinators.
