**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY**

As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response to optimize business results and customer experience to:

- Supervises assigned personnel, is accountable for the effective and efficient execution of appropriated funds, and the appropriate care and use of government resources.
- Leads, manages, and executes activities related to the different aspects of the emergency management cycle underlying ESF-8 medical support activities within the 10 HHS regions - preparedness, prevention, mitigation, response, recovery.
- Assists ASPR Leadership in developing plans and organizes the implementation of the overall strategies, specific operational activities, and collaborative efforts to assure appropriate implementation of the different aspects of the ESF-8 mission, such as technical or surge support of SLTT partners, incident management team support, or requests by other Federal agencies.
- Prepares, coordinates and oversees the preparation and distribution of reports in determining the need for written policies and procedures, overseeing the development of procedural documents, and reviewing and recommending approval upon completion.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
Have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

- Providing advice and recommendations to key agency officials on policies and procedures that concern the engagement of federal support to state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) partners in various regions.
- Administering and managing an organizational program to ensure operational readiness.
- Reviewing information and developing analytical reports to identify gaps or requirements and recommending viable solutions.
- Central point of contact for engagement of federal support to the regions during the emergency management lifecycle to include preparedness, steady state, response, and recovery.
