Overview:
Allied MedCor Services is a 26 year operation home medical equipment company. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of medical equipment including maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment. This is a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment. If you do not have experience we will train you while you earn a salary.
**Duties**:
- Delivery of home medical equipment using company vehicles. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and schematics to properly service equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory.
- Provide training and support to patient and family on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Must be 21 year of age.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with hand tools. - Good communication and customer service skills
- Good writing skills and penmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
