The Member Service Consultant will provide accurate, quality, timely, professional, confidential, and practical assistance in the lobby, drive-thru window, or by telephone.

**The position’s essential duties include the following**:

- Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings, and borrowing members.
- Follow policies, guidelines, and regulations to correctly identify and authenticate account owners, ensuring the protection and confidentiality of non-public information.
- Assist prospective, new, and existing members with questions, inquiries, or requests on new or existing accounts.
- Promote credit union products and services by identifying member needs and cross-selling benefits.
- Deliver timely and exceptional service.
- Build meaningful relationships through conversations and establish trust with the membership.
- Balance and maintain ATMs. Troubleshoot minor problems with ATMs and cash recyclers. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager or designee.

**Education**

A high school diploma or GED is required.

**Experience**

Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Credit Union or other financial institution experience preferred.
