This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to join **Catering by Michaels**, Chicago's premier catering team, as **Catering Event Staff** at the internationally renown **LIV Golf invitational**. The tournament is hosted by the beautiful Rich Harvest Farms, one of America's best golf courses and country clubs. We are looking to fill positions quickly
Who Should Apply:
This position is perfect for anyone seeking great pay and hours, hospitality industry experience, and a positive work environment surrounded by beautiful scenery and supportive staff. Prior hospitality or event production experience is preferred, but **NOT** required. On-site training and instruction will be provided by our experienced catering professionals. The best qualifications are a positive attitude and outlook, ability to follow directions, and willingness to ask questions if you are tasked with something you are not quite sure how to complete.
Position Details:
Employment for this position is temporary, and we are seeking individuals available to work from **September 10th to September 19th**, and applicants must be available to work on **September 16th through September 18th**. Applicants for this position are hired as independent contractors. Catering by Michaels will be providing catering services for the entire LIV Golf Invitational. Hired event staff will be placed at different outdoors or indoors stations, ranging from backstage VIP stations, concessions stations, buffets, beverage stations/bars, and more. The event will be held at Rich Harvest Farms, in Sugar Hills, IL. If you do not want to drive to the event, we may be able to provide bussing to and from the event, from our offices in Morton Grove, IL. Parking is available.
Job Duties Include:
- Assisting with the set-up and break-down of event spaces.
- Serving and handling food in a sanitary manner.
- Assisting with preparing food displays.
- Replenishing food stations.
- Providing assistance to event guests.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Catering by Michaels will provide meals and water for all event staff. We are offering competitive pay based on experience. Instant pay is available through third-party, Nowsta Pay.
