**Summary**: The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of The Family Center (FRC-Family Resource Center) operations.

The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring coordination with The Family Center’s network of service providers and for managing other external community relations related to meeting the needs of families and children seeking assistance.

The Coordinator provides supervision for all staff of The Family Center, and oversight of subcontractors, including but not limited to, Licensed Mental Health Clinical Services and Family Partner Services.

The Coordinator shall also serve as volunteer coordinator for all volunteers and interns.

The Coordinator shall work directly with families and children as needed.

**Essential Functions**:

- Ensure the quality of services and supports necessary for children and their families seeking TFC with the emphasis on strengths based engagement, health and safety.
- Develop and implement quality management practices that ensure program compliance with funding source on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of the day to day operations of the TFC (FRC) including regular program activities, and special events.
- Hire, supervise and mentor program staff, volunteers and interns.
- Work with director to maintain high professional standards including but not limited to staff development, program management, budget management and facility management.
- Foster and maintain professional, constructive and mutually beneficial partnerships with all community stakeholders.
- Coordinate the efforts of community partners to implement support services for children and their families seeking assistance from TFC/FRC.
- Represent the TFC and active participate at local and regional meetings, conventions and conferences.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of a record keeping and file management system that includes but not limited to the CRM system.
- Provide and all requested outcomes and evaluation measures, including but not limited to monthly and annual reports to the funding source, on a timely basis.
- Work with director and leadership team to develop and maintain policies and procedures. Skills:

- Ability to organize multiple tasks within a fast past multi-faceted environment
- Ability to motivate others and promote a culture of learning within the program.
- Project management experience with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups.
- Proficient in report writing, business correspondence.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelors degree preferred or commensurate years work history in a related human and social services field.
- Multi-lingual language preferred, multi-cultural sensitivity required. A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required.
- Direct experience working with families.
- Experience in program oversight/coordination.
- Experience in leadership development preferred.

**Physical Demands**:

- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Moving tables or chairs to set up for presentations or activities.
- Carrying boxes of supplies or fliers for programs.
- Able to squat or sit on the floor when doing activities with children.
- Stand for two to three hours per shift if presenting or running a program.

**Other Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a vehicle
- Some travel is required
