Our correctional officer team is a mix of security and social work combined, and a career with the Hampden County Sheriff's Office can take you to places you never imagined.

While you must be at least 19 years old to apply, previous experience is not necessary. We will give you the training, tools, and support to be successful. We just need good people to step up and take on the challenge.

There are also several annual bonuses awarded for physical fitness, performance, and educational achievements.

We are hiring full-time correctional officers and correctional officer cadets (per diem) so please consider joining our team today

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must pass criminal background check
- Must pass drug screening and medical clearance
- Must graduate from Western Massachusetts County Correctional Officer Academy
