**Duties**:

- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs( must know how to take a manual blood pressure), preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Administer medications, including injections and inhalation treatments, as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic life support techniques when necessary.
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication administration.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following infection control procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Basic life support certification is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Certification Course or relevant experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.69 - $23.71 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
