Investor Development Associate

This is **NOT** a remote position. This position will be located in-person Monday through Friday at our corporate office located in Scottsdale, AZ.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Relationship Building**: Build and maintain relationships with investors and investment firms through regular communication and meetings.
- **Strategy Development**: Develop and implement effective investor development strategies to attract and retain investors.
- **Initial Investor Calls**: Conduct initial calls with new investors to understand their needs and present investment opportunities.
- **Investor Check-Up Calls**: Participate in regular investor check-up calls to provide updates and maintain strong relationships.
- **Internal Support**: Address common questions and provide support within the organization regarding investor relations.
- **Business Plans and Presentations**: Create detailed investment business plans and presentations using PowerPoint.
- **Marketing Collaboration**: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop investor-focused materials and campaigns.
- **Networking and Representation**: Attend industry events and conferences to network and represent the company.
- **In-Person Events**: Coordinate and support in-person networking events periodically.
- **Team Support**: Support the Investor Development team in various capacities as needed.
- **Founding Partners Interaction**: Work closely with the Founding Partners and interact directly with management teams, external advisors, and investors.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Relevant Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in business development, client relations, investor relations, or the financial services industry.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Knowledge of real estate and/or multifamily investments is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **Adaptability**: Resiliency and an openness to adapting to industry changes.
- **Customer Service**: Exceptional customer service and critical thinking skills.
- **Phone Skills**: Proficient phone skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- **Team and Independent Work**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
