Vital Village Networks (VVN) works to solve intractable social inequities in health and educational outcomes by building local community capacity to promote health and wellbeing through peer-led, community-driven strategies, research, data
- sharing, and collective action. The Vital Village neighborhoods of focus: Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury have the highest percentages of children aged 0-5 years old, 20%, 11%, and 11% respectively, and have the highest concentration of children living in poverty within all of Massachusetts (42%). VVN place-based, community engagement network mobilizes collective investment from residents, community organizations and institutions to seed scalable and sustainable community change around child protection and promoting healthy social and emotional development in early childhood.

**Member Duties**: The Social and Emotional Wellbeing Community Mobilization Coordinator will build capacity to support equitable and sustainable access to community-level resources and supports for child and family wellbeing and cooperative actions that support resilient and healthy communities. Job specific duties may include: - Participate in identifying or developing and implementing sustainable socio-emotional learning resources, programs, and partnerships. - Create web-based resources, trainings, and tools to support child and family wellbeing. - Support community-led Mental Health Committee with coordination and preparation of committee initiatives including the May Mental Health Month 2025 Campaign. - Support development of an updated text messaging platform system to curate content from network partners on events, workshops, and resources.
