Superintendent/foreman of a Grading Crew

This is a leadership role that is responsible for the crew and the production of the work being completed. Ideally, the person would proficient operating a Blade and finishing ABC freehand while directing all grading activities of the crew. Can perform daily grading job requirements and daily paper work. In addition they need to be able to communicate effectively with the companies General Superintendent and with the Customer representative, The Crew Supervisor's job is to make sure that the team is productive and efficient and this can take a variety of forms, such as assessing and providing direction on the proper use of equipment. In addition, they need to monitor the work site so that it is safe at all times. The Crew Supervisor should be able to administer safety meetings and ensure that safety protocols are in place throughout the project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and monitor employees' tasks, especially new hires.
- Operate and finish with a Motor Grader.
- Receive and resolve employee concerns or complaints.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members, including management.
- Develop and revise (as needed) daily work plan and communicate it to the crew.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
- Schedule maintenance work and repairs.
- Ensure daily equipment maintenance is being performed properly by crew.

Pay: $1,700.00 - $2,200.00 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Finish ABC: 3 years (preferred)
- Managing a Crew of 3-5 people: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
