CP Kids Daycare and Preschool is a nurturing place for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to learn through play and actively develop their language, cognitive, social/emotional, and motor skills. Our 9 welcoming and inspiring classrooms, combined with the most spectacular sports facilities, provide unique opportunities for learning, fun, and community building right here at Chelsea Piers.

**About the Opportunity**:
As an Assistant Teacher you will be expected to:

- Create and implement a dynamic, creative, age-appropriate curriculum
- Interact with children and engage in developmentally appropriate play and activities all day
- Engage in on-going communication with parents about each childs development via verbal and written communication
- Create and implement structured gross motor activities each day
- Plan and schedule the daily classroom activities
- Work and collaborate within a team

**About You**:
You are patient, kind and caring and have excellent communication skills. You are comfortable working with toddles between 1 and 3 years old and are ready to get creative while working within the CP Kids Early Learning Structure.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year as an assistant teacher in an early childhood setting or similar experience
- Experience with children ages 1 -3 years old
- Patient, exuberant and caring
- Excellent interpersonal skills

**Schedule**:Full-Time, approximately 40 hours per week. Daycare Hours are 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday, schedule may vary based on business needs.

**Compensation**:$17-$18/hour, depending on experience
