coordination of office activities and operations while providing clerical and administrative

support to management. Assistance to other departments as needed such as HR and on-site IT.

**Essential Functions -**

1. Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and

announces, directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.

2. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules

appointments.

3. Maintains office supplies inventory.

4. Maintains records, documentation, and files.

5. Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes

items.

6. Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.

7. Performs office filing and record-keeping.

8. Assist HR with projects or tasks.

9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Competencies**

1. You must be extremely dependable and punctual.

2. Excellent verbal communication skills.

3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

4. Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

7. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

8. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

9. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

**Qualifications/Educational Requirements**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in office administration or

related field preferred.

**Office Assistant Job Description**

2. At least two years of administrative and clerical experience required.

3. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

4. You must emphasizing accuracy and be understand that timeliness is a must.

5. Diplomatic, tactful and discrete concerning confidential information with unquestionable integrity at all times.

6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

**Work Environment**

This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office

equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds unless otherwise specified in the

job description.
