**About us**

PRO Physical Therapy is a therapist owned private practice that has been in Los Angeles since 2001. We pride ourselves on striving to providing an excellent customer experience from our front desk to the therapist care and our support staff interations. We try to learn from every experience and get better in the process. Ultimately, our goal is to help get people back to what they want to be doing in life.

Many of our clients are repeat customers or even our MD referral sources, their family memebers, and office staff.

We are looking for people who are team players but can be autonomous in their job. We expect 100% from an employee when they are here and we can be flexible when needed to help with the work/life balance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-maintained

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Raintree
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle a high volume of calls

We are looking for a reliable and organized individual who can effectively manage the front desk operations of our physical therapy clinic. If you have experience in medical receptionist duties, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
