- Gulf Coast Health Center_ is a non-profit healthcare facility that has been proudly serving Southeast Texas for over 23 years by providing quality, affordable, and accessible primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to the community, and we want to expand our dynamic team with you.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Receive customers’ prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
- Measure customers’ eyes and faces, such as the distance between their pupils.
- Help customers choose eyeglass frames and lens treatments, such as eyewear for occupationaluse or sports, tints, or antireflective coatings, based on their vision needs and style preferences.
- Adjust eyewear to ensure a good fit.
- Repair or replace broken eyeglass frames.
- Educate patients about eyewear—for example, show them how to care for their contact lenses.
- Perform business tasks, such as maintaining sales records, keeping track of patients’ prescriptions,and ordering and maintaining inventory.
