**Job Title: Medical Assistant**

**Location**: Agoura Hills, California

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Experience**: At least 3 years of relevant experience required

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, electronically sorting and filing faxes and documents, and coordinating referrals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Adhere to medical and ethical standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
- Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
- Assist with patient education and counseling.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting. Previous experience in a Gynecology practice is an advantage.
- Confidence and proficiency in managing a paperless office environment, including electronically sorting, organizing, and filing faxes and documents.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and customer service.
