Our hospital is seeking a **Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist** to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.
The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for maintaining front of house duties. These tasks vary by day but can include: answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, maintaining hospital required paperwork and reviewing invoices or discharge instructions. To be successful in this role, clear communication and organizational skills are key
- Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a hands-on environment
- Energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills
- Be compassionate/caring
- Willing to work flexible hours including weekends
- Can work individually, as well as on a team
- Self-starter personality that can complete daily tasks without the need for constant direction
**Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise**:
- Prior Customer Service Experience
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

We one of three sister hospitals that have been serving Cobb, Bartow, and Cherokee counties since 1980 We are a multi-doctor practice supported by an experienced team that is always ready to take care of our canine, feline, and pocket pet patients. We offer specialized services, ranging from the routine annual physical and vaccinations to surgery and dental care. At Acworth Animal Hospital, you will have access to digital radiographs, ultrasound, cold/therapy laser, Cornerstone, and a dedicated surgery suite We are a feline friendly practice and are located less than 30 minutes from an ER facility.
