The Assistant Project Manager provides the project team with the administration and management associated with the construction project to ensure project success. This includes procurement management, submittal and RFI control, establishing and routing plans and ensuring all information gets to the proper internal and external distribution.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Accurate and timely management of all paperwork and coordination on projects, including pre-construction surveys, site logistics plan, and project punch list.
- Estimating, Preparing, and Qualifying subcontractors for projects.
- Proper planning of project, scheduling, and coordination.
- Assist with weekly schedule updates.
- Assist in coordination of field and office staff.
- Communicate with project team regarding Drawings, RFI's, and Submittals.
- Keep Procore updated and assist in the follow'?up process for open items.
- Prepare meeting minutes and weekly status reports.
- Participate in internal and external team meetings such as OAC, scope reviews and project kick off.
- Tracking and vetting of RFI's, submittals, shop drawings and long lead items.
- Drafting and managing subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Completion of project start'?up and close'?out documents.
- Assist with resolving issues / problems involving material delivery, contract administration, and labor disputes.
- Collaboration with project teams to facilitate on time and budget delivery.
- Providing recommendations to the Project Manager and/or clients on any issues.
- Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
- Expand and grow into leadership roles to become project manager.
- Participate in potential project interview(s).
- Set up and attend job walks.
- Maintain the Company's safety program.
- Follow company policies and procedures and models company culture.
- Mentor and train new staff and help support and develop talent.

**Requirements**:

- Associate degree or equivalent knowledge in construction management, business

administration, and/or related fields of study. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience

may be considered in lieu of education.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Ability to run minor projects with mínimal supervision from start to finish.
- Ability to read architectural and engineered plans and specifications.
- General knowledge and understanding of budgets, financial reporting, contracts, subcontracts, lien processes, releases, invoices, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate understanding of how to read construction schedules and how they are built.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other project-related software.
- Can work individually and with a team at any given time.
- Good time management
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities and shifting timelines.
