We’re a fast-growing and fast-moving company looking to hire a Production and Plant Manager to join our team.

**Day-to-day activities**:

- Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the plant operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and facility upkeep.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality.
- Lead and motivate a team of production and plant personnel, providing training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, quality assurance, and sales, to align production goals with business objectives.
- Set production schedules based on sales forecasts and assist with operational strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in production and plant management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on detail and quality.
- Proficiency in production planning and inventory management software.
- Experience in facilities adhering to cGMP with QMS preferred.
- Knowledge of Wherefour, Leaf Trade, BioTrack, and METRC a plus.
- The successful applicant must pass criminal background checks by the FBI and Illinois State Police. If this is not possible, please do not apply.

**Compensation & Benefits**

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, starting with a base salary of $70,000-$100,000 and additional bonus opportunities. Benefits include paid parental leave, vacation time, 10 paid holidays (including 4/20), health, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending accounts, company paid life insurance, and company-paid short term and long-term disability insurance.
