Role Overview: We’re seeking a hands-on Plant Manager who can guide, coach, and develop the team. You will oversee various departments, reporting to the regional manager. While we value innovation, we are looking for someone who will learn our processes and contribute to continuous improvement over time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across all departments.
  • Shop Floor Presence: Spend substantial time on the floor, working alongside your team to guide, coach, and troubleshoot.
  • Customer Focus: Work closely with customers to understand their needs, particularly for custom orders, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Process Management: Master and manage the process, from start to finish
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a well-organized and efficient production environment, ensuring all orders meet our high standards.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: A BS degree is a plus, but practical experience and problem-solving skills are more important.
  • Experience: 10-20 years of relevant management experience in a production or plant management role.
  • Mindset: An engineering mindset, mechanically inclined, and capable of learning complex processes.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with both the team and customers.
  • Leadership Style: Fair but firm—someone who can lead without being a micromanager, and who is respected rather than feared.
