Job Overview
The Program Manager will oversee the ICE ERO Invoice Reconciliation contract, ensuring efficient execution and expansion of the robotic process automation (RPA) environment. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in RPA, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in invoice processing.
The Program Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of ICE ERO’s invoice reconciliation processes through advanced RPA solutions, contributing to the overall mission of enforcing U.S. immigration laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage the RPA project, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks.
- RPA Oversight: Facilitate the operation, maintenance, and expansion of the existing RPA process for invoice reconciliation.
- Technical Documentation: Document changes to technical exhibits to ensure ease of use and implementation by partners.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure the RPA system is populated with accurate data for invoice verification and processing.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement additional process improvements to support ERO’s detention and transportation operational processes.
- Reporting: Develop and implement operational and financial reporting capabilities based on automated data capture.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with field and program offices, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Required Experience
- Team Leadership: Experience as a team lead managing at least 5 employees.
- Project/Program Management: 5+ years as a project or program manager.
- IT Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT.
- Federal Government: 3+ years of experience working for the federal government.
- Professional Certifications: Certifications in Project/Program Management (PMP certification or advanced certification/degree in Project or Program Management).
Preferred Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or 15 years of IT experience.
- Federal Project Management: 10 years of experience in managing federal projects.
- RPA/Agency Projects: 3 years of experience managing RPA projects or comparable projects within a law enforcement agency.
Additional Qualifications
- Agile Methodology: Experience in managing projects using agile methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath), AI Document Understanding models, and integration with financial systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and stakeholder interaction.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success.
