This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Working days are Monday - Friday.

We have proudly served the residents of the greater Boston area since 1909. Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare. We are an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs. We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment.

**The Recovery Coach Navigator **is an important member of the Arbour Hospital's Partial Hospitalization multidisciplinary treatment team.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervises and provides support to the Recovery Coaches
- Provide peer recovery support services to patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and will assist patients in achieving sustained recovery
- Support the voices and choices of the members they support, mínimalizing the power differentials as much as possible
- Facilitate patient access to recovery-oriented substance use disorder treatment, resources, and community recovery groups
- Maintain ongoing patient support regardless of relapse and will serve as a motivator, ally, role model, problem-solver, and advocate for patients with substance use disorders
- Possess thorough understanding of community culture to address the barriers to successful recovery, better tailor health messages, and provide links to community resources and treatment options

**About Universal Health Services**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree required
- Preferred prior experience working with a female patient population
- 1 year prior recovery coach or related experience required
