**GENERAL FUNCTION**

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Monitors and analyzes changes in the market, competitor activity and customer base, and adjusts sales plans accordingly
- Reviews territory, competitive conditions, KPI expectations and customer needs with Director of Safety Eyewear to plan territory sales strategy and to refine call schedules; Builds and implements a strategy for all accounts and creates in-depth strategy for key accounts
- Develops plan with lab personnel on how to achieve satisfactory customer experience for safety eyewear
- Works with Inside Sales Support team to develop dispensing panel of ECPs and onsite opticians is as current and accurate as possible
- Uses consultative selling approach with customers that drives immediate sales and establishes long-term business partnership
- Varies professional selling approach based on segmentation, audience and safety industry focused on
- Anticipates and addresses customer needs and issues proactively, resolves customer issues in a timely manner and uses the opportunity build a stronger relationship; Partners with lab when addressing customer needs while maintaining a professional EssilorLuxottica image
- Demonstrates a dedication for customer service through customer involvement
- Uses Annual Sales Meeting, Ride-withs, Call-ins and the annual review process to identify professional needs and develop skills

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated sales results; 1-3 years sales experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Customer centric mindset required; Customer service experience or client relations strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel at least 20%
- Strong organizational skills

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
