**K5 Corporation** is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team and oversee safety practices at our pavement markings construction company.

As the **Safety Officer,** you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety procedures, training employees in safety protocols, and actively engaging with team members to promote a culture of safety across all levels. Your role is crucial to the success and well-being of our workforce.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety protocols and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with safety policies.
- Monitor and evaluate work environments to identify potential safety hazards and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with management and team members to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, providing reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in safety practices.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Safety Officer
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey safety concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
