Under the direct supervision of the manager and guidance from the designated employees, the Support Services Assistant (SSA-G) is responsible for providing reasonable accommodations associated with work-related activities to support persons with disabilities with performing necessary job assignments and providing a comfortable work environment. The SSA-G is responsible for effectively assisting the employee with the following: clerical, administrative and program job functions in an effective and appropriate manner; reading a variety of material in various modalities; translating documents into an accessible electronic format; proofreading, editing and formatting documents; completing documents and forms; handling confidential information; assisting with meeting preparation; and periodic travel, including driving and accompanying employees to offsite meetings and functions.

Working Conditions

Permanent Intermittent employees are not allowed to work more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. The anticipated time worked will be 20 hours per week. If selected, the employee will receive an hourly compensation based on the number of hours worked.
