iStudio Projects is seeking a meticulous and driven Construction Estimator to join our innovative team. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Project Estimation: Conduct thorough assessments of potential projects, analyzing costs of materials, labor, and time required to complete each project to client specifications.
- Visit job sites: Analyze the needs of the client, review drawings, pull measurements, create take-offs for vendors, and understand specs.
- Computer skills: Build quotes from designs and prints, utilize CAD experience, and work with cost estimation software.
- Review vendors lists: Build quotes, manage inbound GC requested bids, and work remotely or ideally locally to the main office.
- Materials, shop team estimating, labor, logistics, and staging for shipping: Coordinate all aspects of project management.
- Budget Management: Develop comprehensive budgets that align with project goals and client expectations, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to create detailed project plans that efficiently integrate theatrical systems into various performance venues.
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Client Proposals: Prepare clear and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate project details, costs, and timelines to clients.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all project plans meet industry standards and safety regulations, working with professional engineers and riggers to inspect and approve the integrity of each venue.
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, with a strong background in project management within the theatrical equipment, TV/film, or construction industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
- Expertise in cost estimation software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing client expectations and building relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus and organization.
- Sales experience preferred: Ability to set projects for success and manage client relationships effectively.
