Are you a seasoned estimator with a passion for commercial construction? A leading Commercial General Contractor based in Houston, is seeking a talented Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team. Specializing in a variety of commercial projects, including industrial, educational, and government sectors, they pride themselves on delivering excellence in both ground-up construction and renovations.

About the Role: As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our client's project planning and execution. Your expertise will be essential in developing accurate and competitive bids, ensuring the success of diverse projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities: · Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects, including industrial, education, and government sectors. · Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. · Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints. · Perform risk analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs and timelines. · Assist in the preparation of proposals, bid packages, and presentations to clients. · Track and manage project budgets, ensuring accuracy and profitability. · Mentor and guide junior estimators, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating. · Proven expertise in industrial, education, and government projects. · Strong knowledge of construction materials, costs, and procedures. · Proficiency in estimating software and tools. · Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. · Strong communication and negotiation abilities. · Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. · Career growth and development opportunities.
