**Job Description: Administrative Construction Project Accountant**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
**Overview**:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Construction Project Accountant to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to provide essential administrative and accounting support for construction projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must-have qualification for this position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the management of project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions related to construction projects.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of project expenses and financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for project stakeholders.
- Support project teams by providing administrative assistance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in administrative or accounting roles within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of construction accounting principles and software systems is a plus.
