Public Authority Services by Sourcewise is seeking an energetic, bi-lingual (English/Chinese), detailed-oriented Registry Recruiting Assistant.

**Program Description**:
Santa Clara County partners with Sourcewise to provide Public Authority Services for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS). IHSS is a county, state, and nationally funded program that pays caregiver wages for care services for low-income elderly and/or disabled or blind individuals.

The Public Authority Registry is a countywide service that assists consumers who have been approved for IHSS to find providers (caregivers) who can work for them. The Registry’s goal is to match the consumers’ needs and preferences, as much as possible, to the available providers on the Registry. The Registry Recruitment & Outreach team plays a critical role in finding, screening, recruiting, and onboarding providers to be added to the Registry.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree desirable.
- Ability to communicate via telephone and in person, deal tactfully and courteously with the public and agency personnel.
- Strong organizational skills and follow directions.
- Detail oriented, with strong ability to take clear, and concise notes.
- Experience in exploring, engaging in, and performing onboarding tasks, such as conducting interviews, reference checks, and explaining enrollment and registration processes to potential caregivers.
- Experience using office equipment and computers in MS Windows environment, Office365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Interest and ability to effectively work and communicate with multicultural, multilingual, elderly, disabled, and/or technology/illiteracy challenged individuals.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
- Previous experience working in healthcare and caregiving staffing a plus.
- Valid California Driver’s License and auto insurance as required by California State Law.
- Follow Sourcewise Standards of Conduct.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist Registry Recruitment and Outreach Specialist to expand the number of independent providers on the Registry.
- Track the progress of onboarding registry applicants; maintain and update accurate records, concerning all consumers and care provider information in the computerized databases.
- Inform providers participating on the Registry of their responsibility to the 3 policies of the Registry: check-in policy, removal policy and mandated reporters under the elder dependent adult abuse reporting law.
- Conduct quality assurance calls with the newly recruited providers to assist with program adherence and ensure retentions rates.
- Provide problem resolution assistance for consumers and providers as situations are made apparent and when requested.
- Answer phones promptly and return calls within 24 to 72 hours of voice message being left.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Schedule**
Regular part-time work schedule is either 8 am to 12 noon, or 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday - Friday, except national holidays. Part-Time 20 hours per week.

Office located just south of Milpitas.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.50 - $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
