Busy West Knoxville Rheumatology office in need of Full time Medical Assistant (certified). Monday through Friday hours are 8:00 until 5.00 except Friday -- 8 until noon. Duties include but not limited to:
1) Politely escort patients to exam room
2) Prepare supplies for clinical procedures such as aspirations and injections
3) Take patient vitals and chief complaints, prepare for exam and treatment
4) Respond promptly and courteously to patient phone calls
5) Maintain patient records in EHR (Intergy) and document as needed
6) Chart lab
7) Knowledge of anatomy
9) Other duties as assigned
10) Phlebotomy and x-ray would be a PLUS.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
