**JOB TITLE**: Part-Time Adult Education English Teacher for James H. Groves Adult High School 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Mon/Wed)

**LOCATION**:Adult Education Division
- Marshallton Building

**REPORTS TO**: Building Administrator

**QUALIFICATIONS**: Must hold or be eligible for Delaware Teacher Certification in English or Adult Education Permit.

**GOAL**: Provide instruction in English Language Arts to adult students who are seeking their high school diploma. Work with students to complete their CEA3 paper.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**:

- Plan, organize and provide instruction that supports all levels of students with methods that are accepted as best practices in this field.
- Maintain and communicate attendance, performance, and growth data with students and staff in a timely manner.
- Proficient computer skills including Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Schoology, and the use of Zoom and/or Teams for online courses.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by administration.

**SALARY**:
$33 per hour

According to the salary schedule as approved by the Board of Education.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
