By appointment only, part time Designer position. Offering design guidance, support and product knowledge to new homebuyers as they make selections to customize the interiors of their new home. Set proper expectations with home buyers regarding the selection process. Provide a superior level of customer service from start to finish with each customer, by maintaining a positive working relationship throughout the process.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Responsible for successfully completing buyer appointments, follow up and follow through to buyer sign off of selections
- Be knowledgeable about the design selection process, various product categories, many price points, material styles, disclaimers and paperwork
- Follow current Design Studio paperwork processes and policies
- Have an eye for color, style and design configurations that follow the latest trends
- Assisting buyers with making selections to customize their home within their budget, color schemes and/or design styles
- Increase sales though knowledge, education, selling techniques and option upgrades
- Collaborate with Builder and/or sales agents when necessary to confirm features, options and final buyer paperwork submittals

**Qualifications**
- High School Graduate **Required**:

- Some design education **Preferred**:

- Minimum of **5 years experience** in homebuilding design center environment or interior design firm
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Great listening skills and creative problem solving ability
- High level of enthusiasm, integrity and attention to detail
- **Proficient** in Microsoft Office, Power point, excel and Adobe Acrobat DC (editing software)
- Be coachable, patient and have positive attitude
- Ability to deal with conflict & promote issue resolution
- Ability to complete appointments ranging from 1 to 4 hours, during normal business hours Monday through Friday by appointment only

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week

Work Location: In person
