The Virginia Department of Social Services, Division of Family Services is currently seeking a Prevention & Protection Project Manager. This position is responsible for managing and implementing projects, contracts, and initiatives to support Division outcomes and goals especially those related to Prevention, Protection, Hotline, and the Office of Family Violence performance objectives. Monitoring efforts across the entire Department to align policies, programs, processes, resources and staff to achieve the system-wide goals; Managing, directing, and tasking staff across VDSS divisions to advance division, program and special human services projects/programs goals; Conducting comprehensive research to inform strategies for project management and using outcome data to drive decision-making and planning and to ensure benchmarks are met; Supervising efforts to establish and integrate an agency practice model that sets forth the Department's standards of professional practice; Leading cross-functional teams made up of agency staff and stakeholder groups related to any assigned project or program; Determining the appropriate strategies, processes, and resources necessary to advance projects/programs especially within the Prevention, Protection, Hotline Programs, and the Office of Family Violence.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Experience managing, leading and/or coordinating multifaceted projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the administration of human services and child welfare services in progressively responsible positions.
- Knowledgeable in change management and implementation science principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with conducting presentations and effectively communicating data and analysis in a manner that is understood by various target audiences, such as family services workers, managers and stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite, especially the development of PowerPoint presentations.
- Communicates a clear vision of projects and team goals and objectives. Ensures that everyone understands each other's roles and responsibilities and how they relate to project results.
- Aligns project and team goals with those of the organization.
