Medical Billing Specialist

Highly organized individual needed to perform duties in a reliable, professional, and timely fashion related to medical claim data preparation for transfer to a billing company for insurance filing. Knowledge of coding (dermatology, specifically) is helpful and knowledge of insurance, revenue cycle and claims/denial resolution is a must. Experience with an external billing service is also helpful. Looking for an individual with a college degree, and some accounting experience would be an asset. Duties include review of clinical data to reflect charges, patient phone interaction, written communication skills, balance collection, etc. Three physican practice, two offices, high volume and fast paced environment.

EHR is Epic. Experience a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
