**Responsibilities**
- Identify potential sources for used vehicles, including auctions, private sellers, trade-ins, and other dealerships.
- Negotiate with sellers to acquire vehicles at competitive prices, taking into account market value, condition, and demand.
- Meet monthly forecast for sales volume and sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
- Administers and monitors factory-sponsored Certified Pre-owned Programs.
- Works with the General Manager to determine appropriate days’ supply for used vehicles and acquires vehicle inventory accordingly at physical auctions or online.
- Establishes and controls all used vehicle wholesale activities and stays abreast of auction activity.
- Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential and works with the General Manager and sales manager to develop sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.
- Addresses customer complaints to ensure high level of customer satisfaction, as needed.
- Inspect and evaluate used vehicles to determine their condition, quality, and resale potential.
- Conduct thorough vehicle history checks to ensure accurate documentation and identify any potential issues.
- Collaborate with the reconditioning team to assess necessary repairs and improvements to meet company standards.
- Other duties may be assigned by management.- Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals-
- Facilitate regular sales training for continue team growth-
- Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales targeted performance-
- Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and standard methodology processes-
- Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations-
- Lead the negotiation process ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing-
- Analyze business metrics to resolve shortfalls and implement action plans to elevate performance**Qualifications**- Automotive dealership management experience required-
- Shown success in auto retail sales-
- Confirmed leadership ability to mentor and train others-
- Excellent communication and customer service skills-
- Passionate about training sales team members and operating within a reciprocal environment-
- Enthusiastic personality with high-energy attitude-
- Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability-
- Organization and follow-up skills-
- Experience and desire to work with technology-
- High School diploma or equivalent-
