Job Summary:
**Bergen County, NJ based company that fabricates custom commercial interior fit-outs, museums,(TV) Studios, exhibits for trade shows as well as experiential events is in search for a design assistant to support design dept.**

We offer a complete range of services from file creation/preparation, printing, finishing. The assistant to design manager will support with design layouts, marketing materials, setting up print files, and work with large format machines.
- Proficient in the most updated Design software systems: Adobe illustrator, InDesgin, Photoshop, After Effects, Social media programs a plus
- Color Theory Knowledge
- Photoshop/Illustrator: color correcting, image editing, exceptional page layout design, are highly preferred
- Able to create continuous repeatable files as well as manipulate and correct ill-repeating files
- Strong ability to work very well in a team environment within a time sensitive industry WHILE maintaining a precise attention to detail
- Motivated, energetic, strong work ethic, and able to receive/accept direction
- Be able to multi task and perform ad hoc requests
- Experience within the dye sublimation têxtile printing industry is a significant advantage for this opportunity
- Comfortable working in factory production facility

**Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to)**:

- File Review/Preparation (rip files, color correction, testing)
- Handling and transferring dye sublimated paper lift heavy rolls of material (vinyl, fabric, paper etc.)

**Experience**:
Graphic design: 2 years (preferred)

Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (preferred)

Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
