**ASSISTANT Director, Early Childhood Education / preschool ASSISTANT director**

The Goddard School is a renowned early childhood education program with a Piaget (learning through play) based foundation and an active learning approach. The Assistant Director responsibilities include the following:

- Assisting the school Director in overseeing the operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, relationship building, faculty training & development, and quality assurance
- Responsible for all end of day operations and closing the school daily
- Managing social media accounts
- Using a growth mindset to train, coach and develop the school for the future
- Developing strong relationships with our families
- Managing a budget
- Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
- Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

**Qualifications**:

- Child Development Association credentials, or an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field
- Management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An inspirational leader and team builder
- Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment to make sure the students have access to the best curriculum available
- Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolve challenges, and a great attitude
