Curriculum Coordinator

Overview:
**Responsibilities**
- Serve as the Workforce Development Lead POC for curriculum projects across the enterprise.
- Intake training requests for courses and certifications.
- Analyze existing certifications.
- Support interactions and relationship building between Training Analyst’s (TAs) and Instructors/Stakeholders/SMEs as needed.
- Support interactions and relationship building between vendors and Subject Matter Experts.
- Participate in Stakeholder meetings as needed.
- Develop Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) tools.
- Work with Curriculum Manager and Chiefs on a monthly and weekly basis to determine TA priorities and work plan.
- Be a problem solver.
- Identify course owners.
- Build certifications within the Learning Management System.
- Escalate and communicate project risks and barriers.
- Attend scoping meetings as appropriate (first month of onboarding new hires or technical expertise required) to ensure proper analysis of critical tasks is conducted. Look for opportunities for in the office support allowing onsite TAs to conduct meetings independently to gain SME trust.
- Provide support to TAs as they build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project to include:
- Curriculum Manager
- EB Stakeholders
- EB SME’s
- EB Instructors
- Dev Team (Technical Experts, Design & Development team members)
- Onboard new TAs.
- Develop TAs in becoming technical learning experts and/or provide opportunities to further careers.
- Assist Stakeholders with the delivery of TTTs/Pilot offerings as appropriate.
- Coordinate with Vendor leads on process improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Kick off/Oversee multi-trade or large scoping projects.
- Conduct other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 years experience building curriculum
- Minimum 2 years experience building curriculum
- Minimum 1 year expereince working within a Learning Management System

- Specialized experience with specific types of learning content and how they are used at Electric Boat (technical, social, job skills, or compliance)
- Specialized experience within industry (shipbuilding, defense, manufacturing, etc.)
- Creating adjunct online tools for reporting needs.
- Familiarity with diverse populations of learners (diversity, inclusion, and equality) and the specific and nuanced needs of each
- Experience working within a Learning Management System
